Wow, everyone - I'm overwhelmed! This has to be the kindest virtual support group in the universe, bar none. In Connecticut finally - We had a slight setback 2 days ago - both of us came down with violent food poisoning, but we have made up some time and plan to be in Maine tonight. We'll have an early celebration with my folks tomorrow night when we watch the Presidential Debate with them. We're all very excited about it - so nice to be back in liberal-land!

The foliage here is just turning red and gold - just beautiful! I'll send photos when we stop. Next stop: the south coast of Maine!!!!!

Thanks so much to everyone for the anniversary wishes - Mom and Dad truly shine as a beacon of hope - they've been together since they were 12! (wonder what kind of beacon shines at the third marriage..... so far, it seems pretty bright).
