My first ever Vanda bloom!

All I can say is that it looks like a vandachostylis, cannot be sure which one.

the flower color is wonderful. i love deep red flowers. i'm surprised it is doing so well in semihydro. i tried an ascocenda princess mikasa that way and it quickly went downhill. all the roots started rotting. after about 2 months i yanked it back out. i should try some oncidiums that way. i think i'd have netter luck. if you have any tips ont he keeping the vanda in s/h please share! how long have you grown it this way? i am using the treefern pots for my vandas now, just started this spring. so far so good...

The plant has been in S/H ever since it was a seedling. Maybe that has something to do with it as the plant had several years to adapt to S/H culture.
