Flowers sent from heaven Shane. I will follow up with a address and shipping instructions so you can send it to me the best possible route. No need to thank me for my undying admiration of this orchid and I wouldn't insult you by talking about a crass thing like money changing hands! Remember that charity begins at home (your home) so giving this plant a priveliged existance in a good home is the least I can do. AL

Shane to ID your plants we would need information about the size of your plant. Amesiella minor the leaves are just 2,5 cm long and only 1 cm wide.
Here picture of my Amesiella philippinensis, right now in bloom.
    Hi Mietek,
i think that's in the old book. What got me on Shane's pix, are the long spurs, not short and curved forward as in minor, plus the side lobes. Flowers on monticola can also show some yellow/orange stripes. As you said, measurements are very helpful too.

im going to have to say i agree with monticola, the leaves and flower are substantially larger than minor... i assumed it to be philippinensis because of the chinese name, 菲律賓風蘭 (philippine wind orchid), but looking at pictures of monticola, i believe it to be a match... thanks again, guys!
