The image of this particular orchid is really beautiful. This type of orchids can be planted in a bright sunlight and the temperature should be warm at the least.

Thank you eircsmith. I haven't tried putting this one under direct sun because all the lawrenciae I've seen in my locale are planted in the shade, or part shade, at least.

This orchid is said to be primarily grows on trees with light shade; but for better growth you can expose it in bright light. This orchid requires good amount of light and warm temperatures. They also enjoy good humidity.

Right now it is in the shade where it gets no direct sunlight, although the surrounding is still quite bright. Practically all native orchids here grow on trees, except the giant Grammatophyllum speciosum which is more often a terrestrial, and the Spathoglottis plicata or the Philippine Ground Orchid.

    Default Fruit of the lawrenciae

The lawrenciae produced fruit after the flowering. Unfortunately, I don't know how to propagate orchids from seed.

You are welcome, Bruce. The flowers have since opened and not a single bud has dropped. It's quite tricky taking a good picture since it is planted in dappled shade. I'll post photos of the flowers soon. I'm waiting for the last bud to open.
