Here's my Paph philippinense which bloomed in February last year. You'll notice that the newly opened flower at the top (4th from the bottom) has only 1 or 2 twists in the lateral petals. As the flower matures the petals become more twisty (the flowers at the lower part of the stem). I think yours would most probably develop in the same way, if they have not already done so.
This year my philippinense seem to be late in blooming - but I hope I get 2 spikes this time.
