Vasco. Crownfox Magic, perhaps. The cross is Five Friendship x Tubtim Velvet (from memory).
Alas, my plant - and it is my mental picture of that when it last flowered, which sthe basis. Of mysuggestion- suffered crownrot - always a risk in my cooler conditions, and it never started a branch growth, so I lost the plant. But such a lovely, and unusual colour. I wish I could replace the plant in my collection.
I look forward to your NOID photo gallery, thanks to the wind we've been having I'm well on the way to having my own NOID collection, this is a beautiful orchid

Amey, Give up on you?? Never!!!! You have done it again. After a very long spell of searching the Internet to find a flower to compare, I finally found one on another Forum under the Tag Rhv. Spring time. I have also checked the RHS and it is registered.
You cannot imagine how happy I am this evening. Thank you so much for taking the time (and I know that it takes time, lots of it) to check this out for me.
Best wishes
Angela.
