Believe it or not, I found this plant at a local chain of box-type nurseries in Massachusetts on my way home from my Mother's Day lunch with Abby and Henry. It was half the price of the injected neon Phals., and they even had some Oncids and Miltonias - I was in a daze.

Anyway, this is, very helpfully, tagged "Zygopetalum" and the wholesale nursery site had nothing to add. The blooms rival the Galeopetalum I had a couple years go, and it's absolutely thriving, with 2 spikes covered in blooms and buds, and a lovely fragrance. My mom seems to like it, but everyone else who has seen it, just looks for minute, and turns away, puzzled - "What did you say this is called?" Too unusual for those big-dish Phal-buyers, I guess. Thank God for my fellow orchid fanatics!
