Rhynchostylis retusa

This is another new acquisition. I have 3 other varieties of Rhy retusa, including an alba form but this particular variety from Burma (Myanmar) was just too attractive to pass up.. The individual flower is nearly twice as big as our local variety and the lip is exquisite set against the white, sparsely spotted petals and sepals. The spike could have been longer but the tip was broken during ransport from Thailand.
