Encyclia adenocaule aka Epidendrum nemorale

It just so happens that I was searching how to pot this plant. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

I also read about using somewhere in the mix moss and peat. Not sure where that fits in.

My plant is potted in bark, with some Perlite added, and possibly also some charcoal. The bark will be Douglas Fir bark - that was all we could get in Uk at the time, although lately I have started to use Pinus radiata coming from New Zealand - sold under a proprietary name. I think that I saw a flower spike on my plant when I overhauled that section a few days ago - it was on an Encyclia.
I'm glad your message reminded me of this plant - we have a show coming up in June where we get trader safrom South America coming - I wilol see if any of them can supply this . Can't have too much of a good thing !
