Diane, when you say "full spectrum" are you reffering to color temperature? Are they 6500 degrees K? I am in the process of building my own set-up so this is interesting.

Full Spectrum does refer to the color of the light, I don't know the exact specs. These particular bulbs that I have are 40WS Gro-lux Wide Spectrum, they also offer cool white and a couple other versions.
Hey Diane, I just found this post and was curious if you found the light stand sufficient to bloom your cattleyas over the winter?

Good question! I see quite a few catts there...
Yes, I have been able to bloom many catts on the cart. But some of them won't bloom unless they get more light, I move them outside in the summer.
