Thanks for the information, Mietek. I get confused about the two names. Please see

Angel, I also don't understand why he is still using this invalid name. It makes just confuse.
So what is this at the end? I've got one labelled Dendrobium aphyllum. Should I relabel it to Dendrobium cuculatum?
actually if you read the text on the website, it would appear that the more proper or correct name would be cucullatum. That's why I use it over aphyllum. Oh anyway, in the Philippines, we (the backyard orchid enthusiasts) aren't very particular with names. In fact, I know the correct names of only about 20% or less of my orchids. The rest, especially the hybrid ones, have no IDs. Very rarely are orchids labeled at all in trade fares, particularly in my locale.
Can anyone tell me if this dendrobium also has the same preferences as the anosmum? I read somewhere that one should withhold watering the anosmum as early as November so that it will produce flowers instead of keikis in February or March. Should I do the same for the cuculatum/aphyllum?

Angel,
In order to find the right and actual name of an Orchid species you access the website of the Royal Botanic Garden World Checklist of Selected Plant Families: Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
You type the name of your orchid and it will tell you if the name is accepted or it's a synonym.
