I have this one as well (I posted it in this forum) and it's also labeled Oncidium ornitorhynchum, but I've been doing some research on the Internet and the ornitorhynchum appeals to a yellow flowered species. According to the literature I've read, this pink species is an Oncidium sotoanum.
The first question I would need to research lol however, they have a moderate scent in terms of strength, but not overpowering. Very pleasant.

You are the second individual to make this point and i'll have to look into this for myself. I don't like when things are mislabeled! The plant is still pretty wonderful regardless. :-)
Love this Oncidium, but my Lavender colored Ornithorhyncum smells of Lavender Soap. Its in spike now and when it blooms this will be the third time in a year it's done so. Your flowers look great and to think the best is yet to come. AL
[QUOTE=pavel;374298]Nice shot. Cute little flowers. Can't remember ... isn't this in Sharry Baby's lineage?
I checked the RHS site, Onc. ornithorhyncum is not in Onc. Sharry Baby's parentage.
Well this is just frustrating... I cannot find the information from the seller I bought it from some months ago. While I'm not disappointed by the plant, or what it really is, I am rather annoyed it was listed under an incorrect name and the seller even mentioned it was in Sharry Baby's lineage... oh well. It still smells lovely! :-)
I have checked at RHS and Ondicium Sharry Baby = Oncidium Jamie Sutton (Oncidium sotoanum x Oncidium anthocrene) x Oncidium Honolulu (Oncidium Moir (Oncidium altissimum x Oncidium leucochilum) x Oncidium leucochilum)
