A few blooms have opened now. I've noticed that the blooms are much bigger this time than they were when I bought it in bloom, specially the 'skirt' of this Dancing Lady.

Very nice! Here is another that with change of Onc varicosa being moved to Gomesa, it is now Oncidesa Sweet Sugar. This cross has been around for some time. I have found that increasing the light levels give me a less spindly spike. May be something you want to try.

I'll try next season. I like a compacter spikes, but I won't complaint about a spindlier one.
