I am sad to announce that the Rootless Wonder is no more. It had a new leaves coming in and had grown a little root. But, as I worried about, it got crown rot and is gone.
I did learn a lot from the guy as I put him through all kinds of torture to see what worked.
sorry to hear that mary,....
Sad to hear. At least you were able to learn a lot from the little guy before he parted this mortal coil.
So sorry to hear about the phal. I was really pulling for it
It is unfortunate but there is always another phal right around the corner. I personally hate to lose one but it is easy to move on and replace it, if it wasn't a species that is wrong for the environment. I only make a bad buy one time and learn from my error.
My motto is: Never make the same mistake twice, make a new one every time.
LOl,I was pulling for the little guy too. It was a challenge and I really wanted us to win. He hung in there for a long time, but it was too much. I think I messed up when I put him outside for the warmth. He got dehydrated and much weaker. Big mistake! but I did learn.. and I'm sure I will make plenty of new mistakes!
