I have several epiphyllium of varying size. One of which is quite large with one or two stems at least an inch wide. However, I have yet to have it flower. Any secrets?

they only bloom on older growth, like 3 year old branches. i grow mine in peat moss. they like a nice bit of light, but not really direct sun. if you see the edges are getting a little tinge of red or purple, that's plenty of light. too much shade and no flowers. they love bright indirect light.

and if they set buds do not move them around!!
