Spiranthes, a Vanda growing on the cypress wood sounds very tempting! Yes, this Vanda is now in full bloom. I expect it to grow one or two leaves this spring as well.

Mine has been on the cypress wood for a little less than a year now. It has grown some feet of roots on the wood and 4 new leaves. I hope for a bloom in the spring. I'd post a picture, but I haven't figured out how.

Hi spiranthes--just look in the little boxes in the chat section-look for the 3rd from right-little black box with a little pic in it--click on it then just select where the picture you wish to post is in--eg--if on desk top select from computer-then select browse where the picture is. once you open the picture you then click-upload files and rest is done auto--picture should then be posted-picture must be no more than 700x 700 in size.-hope helps-have a great day.

In the reply box there is a pic that looks like a tree in a box. That is where you insert your images at. You may have to download pics to your computer first. I found it easier for me to email my pics from my phone camera to myself then left click on pick and save as.....
