No problema, Chris. Actually I saw your post last night and it looked familiar, but at least the majority of your roots still look good. My root growth damage looks like yours, but with most of the new growths effected, turning dark or just drying up. I have a L. acne's with new growth that all of its new roots that seem to have died back. Not sure if I should try some root stimulants like kelp conc. or KLN or what to help. I am going to get a pH tester, just in case, but believe the tap water is pretty alkaline with all of the minerals and chemicals in it. I prefer to use rain water but it is rarely available here in the Sonoran desert, unless a tropical storm comes through (then there is plenty, ha ha). SO I use about 90% RO water , except in the misters and occasional flush throughs. I have a C. dowiana with three new growths I am really watching and basically ignoring, to see if too much misting or water could be the problem. Especially with dowiana's rep for fungus issues.
