    NO CUTTING!

If there IS an infection (like others, I doubt it), cutting opens up the interior of the plant to greater attack.

@Azizan and @Raybark I chose not to cut. I went and got my hands on a copper fungicide and applied it. It’s contagious; my denisoniana, princess mikasa and sanderiana alba are all showing these tiny little spots no where near as severe as the one photographed. All of which just listed have too been sprayed with the fungicide.
I have a bucket in which before noticing these symptoms they all shared water. (Vandas only) Water is changed on a weekly basis. thats how they contracted this. The part where orchid growing loses its fun and becomes stressful. I’ll keep everyone up to date on the situation. Smh.

You should probably change the water use for soaking daily. Avoid sharing water use for soaking among orchids (sharing is not caring in this case). It is a continuous learning process to grow orchid. I believe everyone has been in that situation. I have massacred a lot of Phalaenopsis and others back then. You will get better eventually.

@Azizan Thank you. That would be ideal for them agreed. I don’t have pets so I look at my orchids as if they were. They captivate you, then you buy them. AND then you’re stuck with the after care haha. But I still love them just have to take the time to be patient with them and learn their individual needs. Also I just noticed one of my newer acquisitions has this exact same red/ speckled pattern on the top crown leaves exactly like this kasem’s delight x vilas. So maybe it’s a combination of the intense light with whatever fungal issue is going on with it. I don’t want to worry about it anymore. So until the next thread. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
