I would water sparingly since no new roots. Have you tried the rooting hormone that you add to water? Perhaps that might help. Also, make sure they are not getting too much light, that will encourage growth of leaves but not roots.

i have a hildos too

i have it right under the light, i water it once a week, and it has 50-60% humidity. i got it at the north jers orchid show and it looked good, but since then it has done nothing but perk up and stand taller and taller every week, so i guess i would recommend that...

i heard that they like lots of air movement. i have mine pretty near to the fan, so it gets a very good amount of air flow...maybe that? should you give yours more air?

i haven't seen any real conspicuous new growth on mine, but it does look happier and happier.

Hi P1, I've got the air movement and a lot of humidity trays in the small sun room with the plants (though I dn't know what % the humidity is). I have given it a lot of sun and the colors on the foliage look good. It's put out two pieces of new growth (one of which is now 6" tall. They just don't have any roots to speak of. I'm afraid it's going to just shrivel up one day. It did lose its oldest leaf two weeks ago.
