If buying from seed it is always a good idea to get at least a half dozen, that betters your chance of getting a good one. Generally when purchasing harlequin from seeds, 4 out of 5 are not harlequin. You are lucky three of them are so far, if they are from seed.
Sorry, ignore last post, I was thinking of the harlequin post here.
OK, this is TOTALLY wierd.
At our local show/sale last fall the club secretary bought two of these plants from me. That was cool and I appreciated the support.
We had our club meeting last night. He had volunteered to provide the raffle prize for the meeting. He brought two phals. I was late so I did not get a chance to take a look before the presentation of the plants. He explains that he bought them at the show, from the same person and they were BOTH PELORIC!
I think I made some sort of comment (Yeah, right, ME? hah!) because he comes back with, "And they were from YOU, Steven!!!!)
I was floored. None of the other plants have any problems. I mentioned this so he was the but of "It must be you, Jim!" and "It must be that you are from Oregon" type jokes.
We then got over that and had a discussion on the plants and peloric in general. He explained that peloric means that the plant tries to be all petals or sepal or something like that. These two plants each tried to have three lips and were very interesting to look at.
After the meeting I approached the winner of the plant my wife liked best and offered to trade a normal one for the peloric and he ultimately agreed. He was afraid I was doing it because I was upset. I told him my wife liked it so we traded.
That will give me the opportunity to take a picture of it and post it for you all to see if'n ya all wanna see dem?
Oh, and the guy they came from wants to buy two more from me!! hehe
Cool - I would love to See Steven. I quite like to see peloric plants, they always make me wonder.
You can also get some really nice looking ones, amoung the really freaky ones!!!
Steven, do your Aurelais have fairly large and slightly pointy leaves? I'm asking because the flowers look pretty much identical to a NOID Phal I bought a couple of weeks ago.
I'd love to see a picture of the peloric one, they have an interesting lip so I'm curious to see one with 3 of them!
So how many of your original stash of 15 do you now own, Steven?

Well, I currently have 6. Three are going to club members and I think I have 2 sold at work. The last one is in double spike but the plant is not looking too terribly great. I was considering putting it on Auction Bids for a really great price because of that.
Piccies later, I am off to work.
Here is the Aureila Franklin I got from you, Steven...looking great...no extra lips, noses, cheeks or anything!
That's just so summery looking too!
I bought my mother in law a very pale lemon yellow phal noid with this sort of pink spotting for her birthday. I loved it and wanted it for me, but was under a voluntary no phal buying ban (as in no phals for me in my flat etc... oviously could make an exception for other people) still am actually.... sigh....
However, if anyone feels the need to take up my idea of stuffing a teddy bear full of plants, a nice cheerful Aurelia Franklin would go down a treat. Not asking much am I????
