Here's one from yesterday - they couldn't even wait till I was finished assembling the climbing/play tree we built them

    Christian

p.s. The discs will be painted black and varnished (is it called that??) and some black carpet will be glued on top so it's nice, soft and claw'able for them

What a fantastic play tree, Christian! I can't leave the photo up where my cats will see it, or they'll expect more from me than they already do!

    just build them one

They really love it! The little guy - being a forrest cat - has spent most of the day on the top disc glancing down on us just to check that everything is in order. (this disc is not on the picture above, it's the one leaning up the wall, and is now on top of the big branch going out to the left aprox 7 feet high)

My two cats would love said set-up.

The little one looks like an orchid muncher. I'd watch out for him!

My, that would make a lovely place to display your blooming orchids...hehehehehe I am sure the kitties love it! They look so happy on it in the photo.

    Cheers,

Great tree I am sure that the rat would love it but the other two couldn't get that high. Your youngster is a cutie. So is his big bro.

Thank you alle for the kind remarks I'd build some more for you guys - but I think transportation costs would be a bit high It really isn't that much work (except carrying the tree home!!)

    Ok Christian,

I'd like to hear more about how you engineered this 8th Wonder of the World...

How did you fit the tree, and how is it fastened securely in place. That's one piece of furniture you wouldn't want falling over...

Oh dear it's harder to explain than do... I'll just take som pictures and do a mini guide I think.

Edit: That's a bit harder said than done apparently... The tree is down for a quick maintenance, and somehow those discs are now REALLY stuck to the tree.. They were supposed to be "detachable" - so I can't take a picture of how I got those on - but a drawing maybe
