Dendrobium loddigessii is a small orchid originally found in Laos and China.
This dend is supposed to have long-lasting, fragrant flowers, about 5 cm across and be easy to grow. It requires a dry rest period in winter to bloom in spring. Everything I could find on-line suggested that it should bloom from late February - early July.
Gin sent me this little division sometime last year. I never expected to bloom it so quickly. Is yours in bloom now too, Gin? For some reason, I thought it was going to be a yellow dendrobium. LOL!
Cheers,
BD
