Thanks for the support everyone... and it's one of those things that happen I guess... one of the judges is a cymbidium grower, the other a Phalaenopsis grower and the third... hmm, not sure what he grows... but during their judging, I heard one of them say, that the flower was no good because of the recurved dorsal.... but I was of the impression that a fully opened flower of this species has that characteristic...
anyways... this is one of the easier species to grow and the flower is as big as the plant! Low light and hardly requires any attention at all...
