It is amazing that they not only make themselves look like leaves, but damaged, bruised leaves!!! Now THAT is adaption.

Wow. Knew that there were insects that looked like leaves and such, but I've never seen one that looks like a flower. That is sooo cool. I want some!!
To illustrate how large a praying mantis can get, I saw one on biology camp that was about a foot long. It kept on flying around us while we were busy with a game of scrabble, and it kept on eluding being photographed next to something that would show its size
