I suspect its simply because they're easy. Matter of fact, it has just sent out a new spike. Expect it will bloom in November.

What snappy little things. How long do they last? I wish there was a way to make my catt's stay longer.

I don't get tired of seeing them! They sure are beautiful and this plant has been on my wish list for some time now.

Yes, by now you're all probably sick and tired of seeing pics of these blooms, but what can I say? I've been quite happy with the fact that its bloomed 3X for me since I got it in February/March. Sorta makes up for how short-lived the flowers are.
