    Default Rusty edges

I am starting to think my orchids did better when I simply ignored them! This summer I have had more problems than ever before, but I've actually paid more attention to the orchids than ever before! Argh!

So, here is the latest. There is a rusty powder on a couple of my phal seedlings--primarily this one which is a relatively newer addition (earlier this summer) but it is also on some of its neighboring seedlings. The leaf edges go dark as well. This plant has the most of the rusty powder--which will rub off if you run a wet tissue or q-tip over it. Is this mites?

On the underside -- the red spots are not mushy but the whole underside is pitted. Is this mites? I've never seen anything like it before.
