Very impressive plant you have there Murry. Sorry you didn't get the AM. I guess the judge she didn't like chocolate. I have a question. Can we bring the plant to them as any given time or it have to be at a show? Where can I bring the plant to be judge?

You don't have to wait for a show, you can just find your local judging centre and bring it there whenever they do the judging. Usually it's at least once a month.

You mean you can't get an award for your plant even if it is spectacular just because someone else's plant of the same clone was awarded? That's not right!

Interesting. I did not know that.
So that means that all my non-awarded orchids that have awarded counterparts can never be awarded ever?

That's a little confusing. I was under the impression that as long as it is an improvement over the previously awarded plant, you could get an award. Although, it could be totally different over there in NZ, but I thought that's how it is here in the US...
