Post pictures of your snow!!!

We didn't have power for 3 days, but some people were without it for a week. We have a wood stove, so we were able to keep the house warm. Cooking and clean-up was harder, but we did OK. I took an extra long shower when power was restored. Poor utility guys. I would not want to be up in that bucket when is 10 deg outside, with all those iced trees cricking around!

Becky, the view in your photo is lovely. Do you really live that high up? I can't imagine. I get vertigo standing on a chair.
Ania, your ice storm pics are beautiful, but, how do ya'll do it up north??? I can't even imagine getting the car started, much less going to work. I guess like Texas, "It's a whole 'nother world". Try to stay warm.

Brrr... you guys have it rough with all that ice and snow. It is cold here, but no ice and snow thank goodness. We all need to head down and visit Tim, Murray, Roy and our other members from 'down under'. It is summertime there and I bet things are starting to heat up. hehe...

That's all we got today. However it's been years since Athens got a glimpse of white christmas...so even if it's just a sprinkle of snow, it's very very welcome.

Brrrrrrrr...I WANT SPRING!

snow storms Fri and Sunday. We headed out in Sunday's storm to get our Christmas tree. Stopped for lunch on the way home and then a little snow play time while we had the snow melting off the tree. Spent the rest of the day decorating.

This is such a great post!! I really enjoyed seeing all these pictures...and that ice storm looks crazy!!! Its so pretty when the trees are covered with ice, but I know they don't like it too much

Here's an update from Chicago...actually, I should have taken pictures yesterday because it was sunny, darnet! Oh well. Here are the pictures in order:

1. View from my 23rd floor window -looks pretty much the same as before! Note the pool filled with snow...I'd LOVE to go jump in it
2. View to the East out the hallway window - that's Lake Michigan! Its frozen as far as the eye can see....its been 10F or less here for about 4 days, so it just froze right up.
