Mabuhay!
I still love Scotland. I'm gonna be there someday. Anyway, with that kind of weather, i guess, i can grow a lot of cymbidiums every color and every freaking ice cold loving plants that i can't grow here in the tropics. Anyway, i love Phils and Scotland. hehehehhe
You should get some Kowhai trees for your yard, you can grow them in tubs and bring into the garage etc for winter. The chilean rhubarb is NZ no.3 pest, highly illegal here.....heck, soon i wont be able to grow anything! the rhubarb is horrible though...unless of course it is normal rhubarb! YUM! The poppy trick only works on the Himalaya blues though.
OK, thank you, Pavel!
Kudos to you for your hard work - what lovely results you have gotten!
Thank you people!I didn't realise that gunnera was a problem in NZ! Why is it so bad there? Does it seed - I suppose it does, duh! lol A kowhai tree, eh? Just looked it up but can't find out how hardy/tender it is. Now I'll have to have one LOL.
