First time mounting my orchids.

Great job Kitty. Love your mounts and the grow area. I'm mounting a lot of my orchids no - the only problem is trying to find more durable wood suitable to our climate. Recently I managed to obtain some odd pieces of teak and I'm confident these would be durable enough. Fern logs are excellent mounts but really hard to come by.

thank you so much to stop by my tread Yew,that area is only temporary for last week.today i moved them inside the green house cause the temperature has a big drop in the night.yes my idea also mount some on the grapefruit tree but need to wait after winter has pasted./Kitty

Today july 25 2013 I've just finished another project ,mounting 7 Phal babies to the log.first I made the post that wrap with moss and put the plants over it.
Hope the root can take over the white net soon.here's the picture from today and I still have some babies left in the net pot.
