So I have six Vandas now. 1 of them I bought came with bark in the basket and that plant is doing well putting out new roots now. The five latest guest came bare root in 4" plastic baskets. I repotted them into wooded baskets and they are secured to the basket with twisty ties. The bigger ones have enough roots to hold them in place without twisty ties. Should I add bark to the Vandas that need to be secured by the twisty ties?
