I finally have a spike on one of my Oncidiums Sweet Sugar. I never before managed to get them to spike. After growing a new bulb, it matured and instead of putting out a spike, they put out a new growth. I guess I used too much Nitrogen which triggered them to keep growing instead of blooming. Now, this one got a high K fertilizer before the growth was completely mature. I guess I'll have to do the same to the other plants as well.
