Make sure the roots are not sitting in water or wet moss. Damp is ok, but let the moss pretty well dry out before you dampen it again. Do you have a small fan keeping the air moving? Rot is your enemy, it needs moisture, but it also needs air and I have better luck if things are a bit dry than too wet. You can spray it with a fungicide too, like Physan 20, to help keep it from rotting.

Oh they don't sit in water. The moss is at the bottom of the tank and then I have a white plastic bowl turned upside down. The plant sits on top of that bowl in its own moss In a pot. The plant only receives water about once a week when the moss in the pot dries out. There is a fan on all day. I'm leaving it in the tank as I slowly crank down the humidity. Once it gets more vigorous Roots the fish tank will be removed.
