    Default Vanda yellow, shriveled roots

The Vanda that I recently bought in the clay pot still has firm leaves but the roots are looking a bit yellow and some are green but shriveled. I soak the clay pot daily and j use regular water and not distilled like I do with my other orchids. Any suggestions on culture would be greatly Appreciated.
