    I kind of like the split sepal! Makes me wonder if there might not be some Masd genes in there somewhere!

    Such wonderful blooms! I really enjoy the pinstripes too. I don't have any long petaled blooms like this--do the twists in the petals appear when it first opens or do they gradually develop?

    Thanks for the kind words folks...

    Lynda, the petals tend to kinda flop out from the way it's been growing inside that bud... generally it is wavy but not twisted... as the flower matures, it gets longer and also starts to twist more.
