I think cats give us the same torturous relationship as orchids - it all has to be on THEIR terms! But we love them so much we don't care, and they reward us handsomely if we follow their wishes!

Well I try to follow the wishes of our cats, but don't really know about that reward... The only thing I seem to get is:

Permission to pet them when they feel like it
Singing and door scratching at 03.30 am
Scratched up floors when they take their daily stampede through the appartment..
Permission to wipe up the water from the kitchen floor when the little one starts digging in the waterbowl (He's kind of clumsy and a bit cross-eyed - he's the -cat)

Well gotta love them anyway - looking forward to the reward!
