Those plants have blue tags... so it was purchased through a grower. Because it is a Cattleya, it would also mean that it is a hybrid. I'll be there tommorow, and I'll drop in and search for those plants...

I disagree that it is a uni X bifoliate. Julie gave that suggestion on the original picture prior to seeing the picture of the full plant. If you look at the plant it appears to be bifoliate. Hope you can find the plant.

Tmai...I tried to crop your pic and see what the plaque nest to the plant reads...I wasn't sucessful...maybe if you try on your unedited photo, you will have more sucess.

I thought Cattleya Portia was Cattleya labiata x Cattleya bowringiana... I have both species, and one is unifoliate (C. labiata), the other is bifoliate (C. bowringiana)...

I'll be leaving here for MSBG in a while, and hopefully with the picture, I can find it...

I used to think the same thing a while ago...

I didn't get down to MSBG today... spent the day with g/f instead.
    I'll try again tommorow though...

The orchid knowledge you folks have is amazing. Thanks for sharing it! The label next to the pot says "Please do not touch plants, flowers, or labels. Thank You" No help there LOL!
