Natalie... if i wasnt such a notorious gay i would be trying to marry you! my mom inherited my tanks when i left the states about 9 years ago...its big and been divided a few times but it has never put out such an amazing display as yours...BUT the thing that makes me love you more than kim jong il loved pantsuits is that jug of jim beam in the picture!!! jim beam and i have been having a torrid love affair for a coupe of decades now (he picked me up when i was barely legal) i have jim in the hand that is not typing right now... you have just become my new favorite person... well its a tossup between yew and you... but then again i love having favorite new people... so the yew/you's have it!!!

Thanks for the info. about the potting mix and fertilization Natalie. I think I need to change the potting mix for mine, it is potted in very big chunky medium, may be that is not allowing the roots all the moisture and nutrients they need.

How did I miss this post the first time around? Wow, wow, wow! 25 spikes!! Amazing!!! And I love your photos. The one taken above the blooms, showing just the whites of the petals and sepals is especially cool. I am jealous. I have killed two of these. They rotted; too wet I guess.

I wish you asked me earlier - I repotted the plant in November and got rid of a few small divisions. Wait a minute, I'll see if I can make a division for you.
