Oh, so beautiful !!! And I'm still waiting patiently for my FIRST spike ! Janagolf
Hi
These are still blooming............Mtssa. Pelican Lake 'Everglades' & Charles Finch 'Izumi', Lc 'Luminosa', Noid catt, Oncda. Sharry Baby 'Sweet Fragrance', Den. Burana Jade 'Burana', Phal. Sunflower, NOID dens, plus Lc. Schilleriana bloomed again and I have spikes on my B. Nodosa & Odbrs. Fangtastic Bob Henley 'HOF #4' (thanks Diane) & a few others... I am truly blessed
BUT, the one I am the happiest with is my Den. Emma White !! I know this is a popular den, but I got mine back in 2005 & have been waiting forever for it to bloom. I was so tempted to buy one in bloom so many times...
I didn't even know if it was still alive when I catagorized my orchids, no plant had the marker.... But, she's alive & has 2 spikes!!!!!!
Nice!
cheers,

I wished I lived in Florida, they're gorgeous!
BRAVO, VAL!Those are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your pics with us.
Tami
I'm so glad I didn't give into the temptation of buying one in bloom.... it took 2 years but I think this was worth it
I also have 2 new orchids.. birthday gifts from my daughter, Tracy, who also lives in Okeechobee....
Lc. Phra Nakhon Khiri x C. Netrasiri 'Rainbow', which just bloomed yesterday & Enc. Betty Mae x Enc. Rufa.... I haven't been able to find any info online about the Betty Mae, but I do have Tracy's index card with small photo & info, so I guess I'll just have to wait until it blooms for me next spring to get a good pic
NOID Dens are still blooming like crazy.....
I lost my Den Frosty Dawn 'New York' & Precious Dawn 'Pauwela Flame' to root rot??? Leaves turned yellow then stalks went mushy
My B. Nodosa & Blc. Malworth 'Orchid Glade' x George King 'Serendipity' have spikes!!!! More long awaited arrivals....
Hi Ya'll
Well, I don't have to wait until spring for the Enc.Betty Mae x Rufa to bloom, she has a spike!!! I noticed it yesterday when I brought everybody who was either spiking, budding or blooming inside. Boy, did it get cold last night, 31 degrees!!!! I know you Northerners are laughing at me, but for us thin blooded Southern folk, that's a cold we seldom feel
Here are this week's bloomers....
fragrant NOID HD purple catt, Phal. I-Hsin 'Sunflower' (again), a 3rd Dgmra. Skywalker 'Red Star' blooming, new vanda, Tavee Susha Fuch Gold, plus not pictured... Enc. 'Twinkle', Mtdm. Hawaiian Sunset 'Exotic Flame' bloomed again & my Odbrs. Fangtastic 'Bob Henley' is still going strong!
I hope everyone had a great holiday season!
I almost forgot another new bloomer, I bought this 1 year ago as a NBS...
Blc. Malworth 'Orchidglade' x George King "Serendipity'.... it looks & smells wonderful![]()
Absolutely beautiful !!!! Only because of what I have read, I am surprised Cattleya grow in Florida due to the need of temp. drop at night ! Gee, maybe I can have some luck here in Zone 9, SE Louisiana.
Congratulations !!!!! Janet (Janagolf)
Gee Whiz, Val, everything seems to be going on over there!!! Fantastic blooms, you must be surrounded by colour and heedy perfume! The Malworth x geroge King is especially Floof-elicious!
