    Entered my first orchid today...judging is tomorrow so we'll see. It is my first orchid show period and quite a bit smaller than I had hoped for after seeing the marvelous photos on the forum. I will take photos of the winners tomorrow and get some help to post them here.

    Unsettling though it may be, good for you!! I wish you luck and hope you enjoy yourself and all of the beauty that a show offers and, maybe you'll take an extra one home...

    O.K. here's the buzz...my Psycopsis took third in Oncidium Alliance! I took Vanessas cue and put it in an oriental looking pot. The bummer here is that the one that took 2nd I sold at my shop last week. I can't find it in me to enter something that I don't have something more than money invested in. I did get the bug though. I will be ready next year. I took some photos and if they are o.k. my neighbor will help me post them tomorrow. I also brought home a few new babies and I will take photos of them and post them too. Thanks all for your help and encouragement!

    It is more than fun, the second club I belong to had a Autumn show, it was not very big but there was some nice plants there. I ended up with one first two seconds and two thirds, the first was best in show so I was quite chuffed. The plant is Odbrs Peggy Mobley HCC/OCNZ

    At spring exposition of my orchid society "Les orchidophiles de Montréal" in 2009 and 2010 with 2 friend we had made our own stand.

    we won many ribbon first second and third place.

    The cattleya Haw yan beauty pearl won for the beauty and the perfume.
