Default Lc. Memoria Robert Strait 'Blue Hawaii'

The blooms from this beautiful 'blue' catt with dark violet lip just open over the weekend! I broke one of the blooms while setting the plant up, oh well, so I guess we have to be content with picture showing only one flower!
    Cheers. Hoa.

Default Blc. Ports of Paradise 'Emerald Isle' FCC/AOS (Blc. Fortune x B. digbyana)

Another catt is in bloom. The flowers have an interesting green shade fused with a yellow tinge. The blooms are very fragrant and have the primitive-looking frilly lip, products of the digbyana genes!

    Cheers. Hoa.

Fascinating! Mine was much more green when it last bloomed. It sheathed but no bud this year. I think all the abuse from my travelling is taking a real toll on my 'chids.

    Hi Diane,

Yes, it is a big plant. I think I will repot the Blc Zul in the next few months, then I will cut you a division. If you want, just give me back some postage cost.

Strong light will produce much more vibrant catt blooms. That could be the case here for the Ports of Paradise.

    Cheers. Hoa.

Default Blc. Mem. Crispin Rosales "Costa Mesa" LV AM/AOS

The queen of all the floofy purple catts!
Another clone of the Mem. Crispin Rosales grex just blooms! I love these big floofy lavender catts! The lip from this clone is very symmetric and utterly ruffy! Strongly fragrant of course!
    Cheers. Hoa.

Now that you mention it, Hoa - do you like chocolate?
