9 spike Sharry Baby question.

Wow, Miller! What a wonderful plant. Congratulations on the good growing. Mine has come up with 4 spikes this summer, but it's spacing them out so that one spike opens its buds just as the last one is pretty muchly done. I'd love a display like yours, but it's nice to have a longer lasting period with the flowers. Either way, I won't complain about getting flowers!

Very nice and Wow a 10th spike!!!!!!!!!!!!! do you happen to have seen if any of these spikes are from older P/b that had already flowered on one side but not the other? I ask this as I have had a Sharry baby for about 4/5 years and it usually flowered in Nov/December. Mine is actually in flower at the moment with 3 spikes and all of them are from p/b that had already flowered on one side.... I'm still hoping to get a spike or 2 in Nov/Dec.

it appears to be mostly new growth and each bulb sent out two spikes.

Thanks for the offer, I am using a cannon T1i.

Much better photo, Miller. I don't know what camera equipment you're working with, but it may be something(s) other than the lens that you're less than satisfied with. Often, white balance, exposure, and spot-focusing can be the culprits. I'd be happy to try to figure it out with you if you like.
