Whew! I'm glad he made it back safely, and I'm glad that you and his parents can breathe again. Kids--you have to let them go and live their own lives--but what a price you pay when you do!

I'm teaching my 15 y/o duaghter to drive. I feel sick at the thought of her leaving, being on her own. At the same time I'm very happy for her.

Life does slow little as you get a older, but it doesn't get much easier.

I won't get into the whole global warming thing.
I live near Diane, the temps in the 20's can be tough, there are many outdoor plants that have never frozen that got damaged by this cold. I was doing a little sealing of cracks and such around my greenhouse just to make sure. Luckily things have gone smoothly for me. You haven't put any Phals outside have you Diane?

Nope, never. Lost a couple dends and the cymbidiums... The phals are all happy campers!
