Hi there! My renanthera from this thread is doing wonderfully -I think-
But now at the older part of the stem I started to notice a "green point" which is clearly something growing there. But I was wondering, could it be a flower spike? From what I've read here, blooms appears at a node near the last 3 developed leaves. That's what makes me doubt about what it could be... This is at a very old part of the stem. Here's a picture.

It doesn't seems to be a root because if I see very close I can notice the green tip have like "layers" or something, which reminds me the beginning of a flower spike or a new shoot. Can a new shoot grow from a very old part of the stem?
