    Default Tree Den

This is one of my Dens that are in my trees around the house. I caught it with back light and really liked the shot. It looks like it is hanging in space.
    Thanks for looking.

Oh, that is so cool, Cin! I love to see orchids growing in the open up on trees they way they should be.

    Very cool!

    Cheers,

That's amazing. Look at those roots. If only we could grow like that up here in Canada

I want to do that with a couple of mine. I have the perfect palm tree, at the top of the trunk where the fronds come off, there is this stuff that looks like the lining that comes in the baskets. I was going to try a really temperature tolerant catt, but just haven't gotten up the nerve to put one of my babies out in the weather. Someday...
    Yours looks great....

Wow, that is a great pic, Cin. Pretty bloom, too. Can't wait to see it in person.

What a terrific shot and the orchid is lovely also. Wish it was warm enough to grow outdoors year round here. Congrats

That is beautiful. I plan to do that with my trees too.
Except... my tree trunks are still as skinny as a pencil and only 3 feet tall right now

That root system is awesome! That is why I try not to pot my dens, they either go mounted or sit in open baskets.

WOW! That is how you do it, just look at those roots. I am sooo envious that you can do that!!
