Thank you all for the responses. I am so glad you enjoyed the photo's! As soon as the other plants in spike pop open I will post pics of that too.

your coryanthes and stanhopea shoud be in baskets because their spikes emerge from the bottom of the plant
As the plants mature to blooming size I will plant them up appropriately...right now they are still small, especially the coryanthes. I want to get those black mesh looking pots for them...all those holes should allow the blooms to emerge.

    Thanks again everyone,
    Shann~

Great job moving the plants around to show us your wonderful collection. I think I'm starting to like those encyclia.

Would love to see the flowers of the first pictures... (which are in spike now)
I've posted pictures in the blooming section of this forum for those who want to see some of those pictured in bud. I should have some additional pics this week of my new arrivals.

Thanks, I grow my plants outside on a covered porch. It's not as much space as I would like but it will have to do for now. One day I hope to have a greenhouse but then I would have to buy many more orchids!

Eventually you should take a picture of your grow area and post it, your plants always look so healthy, I am curious to see what the "patio" looks like.

It's really terrible...lol. There are so many plants thrown together in such a small space it can be a bit overwhelming for the spot. Getting through the door can be a challenge when you have an armload of groceries...lol.

I have another porch but its not convenient for a hose and I have to walk around the house to get to it so I have never utilized it. It's usually where a plant goes to die...I know thats terrible but true.

That's even better, how about a picture of you walking through the orchid patio while carrying groceries ? ... hehe. Only kidding!
