How should I repot these phrags...

So, this morning, I was looking at my new paph and phrag seedlings, and I noticed a centipede hanging out in my Phrag. wallisii. Needless to say, now I feel like I have to repot them all, since I grow indoors. I have fine grade fir bark, fine grade charcoal, and perlite to use for the paphs, but I wasn't sure what to repot the phrags into since these are my first. But then it dawned on me. I also have some PrimeAgra that I was going to try on a few phals I picked up the other week. Those are going to be my first S/H victims. It's my understanding that paphs and phrags do well in S/H. So, everyone, tell me if you think I should try these in S/H, or should I go with some type of bark mix. Should I try all of them in S/H? Half? Opinions please!!!

Try half and see how they grow for you. Phrags (for the most part) like to have damp feet, so I would be more inclined to try them before my paphs. JMHO.

I know quite a few people that grow their Paphs in S/H...I am not one of them. I do have 1/2 of my Phrags in it though and they are happy.

I decided to use some of my old throw away semi-hydro ball things and a plastic water bottle to try with a phal that is a sicko noid....we'll see how this goes as well. I hope your group does well. Good Luck

I have three phrags, one is in S/H and happy with (slow growing) new growth but no blooms. The other two are in my bark mix with wet feet and are also what I would call sort of happy. New growth chugging along but no blooms. Granted, I'm not sure I'm a phrag girl!

My Phrags are in bark with perlite the seedlings were in the small bark but moved to medium . They are on a shelf like the Paphs. watered every 3rd day approx . a lot have bloomed the Phrag. caudatum ( if you got it )wants to dry a little more then the other Phrags.
No Paphs. or Phrags in s/h the Phrags get about the same amount of light as the plain leaf Paphs . almost but not quite Catt. light . If slow growing might be to cool or not enough light .. but beware of burn .. Gin

Just a small note, centipedes are carnivores and will not harm your phrags, they may even control other pests.
