    Default My recently awarded Paph...

    The paph below is the one we were lucky enough to get awarded at the SWROGA show this past weekend. It scored a total of 78 points out of a possible 79 (had it been an 80 it would have received an AM (award of merit) instead of its HCC (Highly Commended Certificate.)

    Anyway, since we won the award, I was asked to give the plant a clonal name so I named it 'RVO OrchidTalk' in honor of our community here. So, congratulations to us all!

    Without further ado..

    Oh, how cool. Good idea on the clonal name, too. I was wondering which one had been awarded, and now I can see why that one was. Congrats!

    Great photo! Congratulations again! I couldn't be happier for you. You ought to post a photo of the other one that got pulled for AOS judging even though it didn't get an award.

    Okay, it is not such a great photo, but here it is. I got a second place ribbon for it too. This one was also pulled by the AOS judges, but did not get an award.

    Nice! Good thing Suzanne and I didn't drop them when we carried them to the AOS judging room! We really were afraid to even touch, let alone transport all of the plants pulled for judging.
