    Smile Gigantea X

This is Gigantea hybrids I loss the tag. Most probably that always give rise yellow backgrounds eithers Amboinensis , Lamillegera, Mannii, Fuscata or Kuntslerii. No fragrance. Long lasting. May be beautiful depend on the eyes looks on it.

You seem to have a lot of species and hybrids of Phals, I also adore them! Apparently the climat you live in is ideal for these phals.
Mine are currently not doing badly, they all have healthy roots and new leaves. My Phal mariae is having buds which will open quite soon now.
I am constantly looking for species and fragrant waxy hybrids, which is not so easy to find here in Belgium.
Keep on sending your pictures, I love them all!

My eyes also love this one, but I'm a big fan of these waxy species phals. Thanks for sharing!

Very cool. Do the leaves take after the gigantea in terms of size? Do you have it mounted? I have heard that is nearly the only way to grow gigantea, but mabye the other species in the cross makes it a bit eaiser?

Basically the leaves always followed gigantea size if they used gigantea as parents. If you want to grow gigantea do not use vase / pot they dont like it.
used tree barks or osmunda fibers. Hybrids gigantea is no problem very easy to grow.
