Doritis Pulcherrima yellow splash. I got this as a gift and was a little disappointed when the flowers opened because they are small. But now, I come to love it because its very easy to take care of, and never failed to bloom even after its been neglected last summer.
This is its third time to bloom.

Very pretty.
How long do they last?
Scented ?
Those are really nice, Tanya. They might be small, but they definitely make a statement--they stand out. I'm also curious if they're fragrant.
I never really noted how long individual blooms last. But the spike will continue to grow and produce more flowers for few weeks up to one month. It has nice scent but very weak, you really have to stick your nose right up to the flower to detect it, and only in mid-morning.
The complete name on the tag is Dort. Pulche.(white/yellow splash) x Dort.Purche. var.Buyssonian (sp?) sorry the last few letters of the last name are not clear.
Thanks for the comments, makes me appreciate these tiny flowers more.
Tanya
very interesting and distinctive doritis!
I almost bought a pink one of these today. I'm gonna have to go back next week... DH is gonna kill me!
